UP BOARD CRITERIA
Official Class Age Guidelines (2026–27)
In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) and Uttar Pradesh Basic Shiksha Parishad directives, minimum age criteria for entry into formal classes are outlined below:

| Classes 2 to 5 | 7+ to 10+ Years | Subject to previous class report card |
| Classes 6 to 8 | 11+ to 13+ Years | Subject to valid Transfer Certificate (TC) |
